This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me. For questions about this blog, please contact rockasway@gmail.com. I write whatever I feel like, when I feel like it. Mostly stuff I’m learning or wonder a lot about.

This blog is open to accepting forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions and other forms of compensation, although I haven’t gotten any yet!

The compensation received is not going to influence the content, topics or posts made in this blog. Basically, if you pay me, I’m still going to tell my truth about your article, project or product. Period. And I happen to like to curse. Yes, I am an ‘Academic’ and a Mom and a Professor, and all of that, but I still like to say the word ‘shit’ uncontrollably. All advertising is in the form of advertisements generated by a third party ad network. Those advertisements will be identified as paid advertisements. I don’t ever want ads all over the damn article (I like to say ‘damn’ too) because I think it’s tacky, and kinda like nuts in your carrot cake, just irritating as heck.

The owner(s) of this blog is not compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics. The views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely and solely mine, the blog owner’s. I won’t claim or appear to be an expert on a certain topic or product or service area, because there are no experts. No one knows every damn thing about anything. I will only endorse products or services that I feel are worthy of such endorsement. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. Basically, always check shit out for yourself. Don’t EVER believe what someone tells you.

I’m going to advertise products and things I like and use regularly at the bottom or throughout the posts as affiliate links. Why? Cause I’m a recently divorced single of mom of 4-5 children, 5 pets and 19 plants. We like to eat organic food and that shit is hella expensive. Plus, I’m addicted to reading real books, and that shit aint’ cheap either.

But your money isn’t going to waste, as you can see from my posts and stuff, I make a lot of shit myself, compost, grow our own food, and use a clothesline, so I’m weird and frugal as hell. Go figure.
